DAWSON CREEK CANADA

We arrived today at Dawson Creek, Canada at 2:00 pacific time. It is not what I expected at all! This is a small city. Population of 10,750 people.

I am not sure what their industry is here, but I believe it would be tourististy and oil exploration.

I am sitting here it is 5:30 pacific time the trailers and motor homes are rolling in one right after another. We were lucky to get here early. I know that one caravan of trailers are leaving on Monday morning, there a few for that in now.

Ft. St. John, a population of 16,034, is probably 75 miles from Dawson Creek, the town thrives on the expanding gas and oil exploration as well as lumber and cattle ranching. It also a starting point for hunting and fishing expeditions!
Our destination for tomorrow will be to go to Ft. Nelson about 300 miles.
Population of 5,055. There seems to be a lot of history there. We will try and stay there tomorrow night.
We have meant so many nice people in the park. Some of them are getting back from the AlCan some are going. I have an idea what to expect on the trip. I think it is going to be beautiful! Adventuresome!

Tomorrow will be the start of the trip of a lifetime!

Hope to have some pictures tomorrow night.

Have a great day! I know we will!
