June 15

June 15 was the best day of the trip! The scenery from Fort Nelson to Watson Lake was breath taking! The snow capped Canadian Rockies and the back drop of the green spruce trees made the color palate just beautiful.
We saw Stone Sheep along the highway, along with bison's and their calves,
and also moose. That made our trip worth while!
So far we have driven 2,955 miles.
We stopped in Watson Lake, where the famous "Sign Forest" is located. There are at least 45,000+ signs that people who have traveled the AlCan have left some kind of wood, metal, pie plate sign with names and where they are from. Kind of interesting. We did not leave a sign, but on our way back I think there will be sign from Elk Rapids, MI.
We stayed in a RV park called Downtown RV Park. The parks around here are just parking lots with hook ups for electricity, etc. No trees, no grass, just a parking lot!
Well, we will see what tomorrows adventure is going to be.
